Evaluating Alternatives
It is important to evaluate alternatives and select the best one. Once managers have developed a set of alternatives, they must evaluate them to see how effective each would be. Effectiveness can be measured by two criteria: how realistic the alternative is in terms of the goals and resources of the organization, and how well the alternative will help solve the problem.
